Sooo.... just in case you were wondering what I was doing during the last 6 weeks, here it is. The latest proof of my obsession with texture and details.

This drawing was my companion during the whole summer, while I studied, freaked out over my first state exam, finally had holidays etc so it means quite a lot to me. Plus, it's one of the rare pieces I'm almost satisfied with.

Tools:
Reference picture: Movie still from 30 Days of Night
0.3, 0.5 and (mostly) 0.7 mechanical pencils
size: a bit smaller than A3
time: as I said, around 6 weeks, countless hours. No friggin clue.

I can understand you needed a lot of time to draw this, but it was worth the effort. Wow!!!! I has something surreal, it looks almost like a snow spirit or a spirit of the forrest. I realy love it. The only little thing that draws a little to much attention is the line, branch or hair that is falling down the right side of the face. When I look at the drawing my eye is drawn to that and it is difficult to let go. But that is just a minor thing. My compliments with this piece of art!!!!!!!!!

Ok this has got to be one of the most beautiful pieces i have ever seen.I just don't know how you had the patient to draw this.Every single detail is just perfect,the lighting,the shading,the monochrome,the texture on this drawing is just amazing,i mean every single detail is just beautiful.The background is perfect,it looks like a blizzard going on,and the snow on the fur of the jacket looks so real like he was through a snowstorm.The eyes have to be my favorite part,they look so real,and the skin looks exactly like the real thing,this is definitely Daily Deviation worthy.
